There is no reason at all for you to be miserable. If you own your own home, this is a great time to sell. Find a realtor that you like and trust, and they should give you an idea of what it's worth. From there , it will give you an idea of what you can afford in your next city.

This is not the 1800s. Lewis and Clark and the Donner party are no more. Cross country moves now those people that left Independence Missouri and trekked through thousands of miles in horse-drawn buggies with no medicine, little if any food, now those times were difficult and if one's spouse was to make the statement that we're too old to make a cross-country trip that would be understandable but listen Steve this is 2021.: Moving company they'll pack everything up for you you don't have to lift a finger. If you don't want to drive have an auto trim move your car and then hop on a plane and in a couple of hours your "cross country" move is completed. Don't exaggerate the process. Unless you're medically incapacitated I have to say it's probably just sheer laziness forgive the observation or you've gotten into a comfort zone that you don't wish to break. Don't let your wife/husband relegate you to a life of doom and misery waiting for the grave. If you want to get out get out. It's not all that difficult irrespective of what your wife says.

Same live here since 2009. Don’t like it anymore. Want to sell and live somewhere else in the country. Small community, safe place, nice weather, and good for kids/ family. But my husband doesn’t want to move. Scared about the movement lol! I think the evolution (bad) is not going somewhere else but staying here! Vegas is changing in the bad way!!!!

This review is absurd! What a hater! I moved here in 1998 and love it! The weather is amazing! The hot temps only last 2-3 weeks during July otherwise its extremely comfortable and after sunset its absolutely gorgeous! The suburbs are beautiful. You wouldn't know the Las Vegas Strip is there unless you search for it in the distance. Beautiful Parks, Walking & Bike Trails. Cost of Living is 3-4 times cheaper than CA. Traveling is EASY. No State or Estate Tax definitely saves you money! If/when you want it, world class entertainment within 10-20 minutes. Pro Sports Teams moving in. The Landscape is beautiful! Surrounded by the Mountain Valley, National Parks within short driving distance, SUNSHINE is great. NASCAR Race Tracks, Golfing, Skiing, Lake Mead... Don't believe these miserable people! It's great living in Las Vegas!
